This past weekend, I took Mister Jude over to the Camden Snow Bowl for the annual fall foliage rides! They do this every Sunday in October from 9am-1pm. Adults are $10 and children under 5 years old are free. The ride is pretty self-explanatory. You wait your turn, pick up your CHILD and toss them in the seat next to you, while you sit on the lift at the same time. It takes a good 20 minutes to get up there (I think, at least it felt like forever with a 4-year-old) and the views were AMAZING! At the top, you jump off the lift and you have an option to explore the mountain. There’s a ton of trails and one that leads to the very top-but sadly, with a 4-year-old who complains every step of the way-I didn’t get to go.  Wah.

My tips

  • Bring a cup of coffee in a thermos. I saw that everyone was drinking coffee on the way up-best idea everrrr!
  • If you’re child hates walking, nature and prefers to complain about every. single. thing.-just drop them off at the grandparents and make it a date with your significant other or a friend. 😉
  • Bring extra layers, it’s a bit chilly at the top!
  • Bring hiking boots if you want to do a little hiking.
